Also gothika portrays a trouble protagonist who has trouble mentally and is not sure whether what she’s seeing is real or not. I think it’s a great idea that the woman herself was a psychiatric because reason and her brain are fighting for two different things. I would possible use this idea if I was creating a full length film. I like the scenes were there are lots of people around her and she sees the antagonist, such as when she’s in the shower.
This film is a very good representation of a psychological thriller and also uses twists to keep the audience guessing and the sudden change at the beginning for the protagonists lets us have empathy and care about the character because were feel we only know as much as her which is a great quality to have in a psychological thriller.
